Wine Preservers

Let’s talk about the different kinds of wine preservers available.

Traditional Wine Stoppers: A bottle stopper is inserted into the unfinished bottle before storing the bottle in the refrigerator. Having a stopper on hand is convenient because the original cork is often hard to place back inside the bottle.

Decanter Ball: A decanter ball is placed on top of the decanter to prevent any further oxidization.

Electric Wine Preserver: An electric preserver is usually features a vacuum pump. It removes the air from the bottle and then seals it with a stopper.

Manual Pump and Stopper: A manual pump is similar to an electric preserver, but there is a small amount of labor involved. You place the wine stopper atop the bottle, then place the pump on top of the stopper to remove air from the bottle.
